Paragliding and Hang Gliding in Provence 2022.

Rachael on Ozone Atom over the Ecrins picture by Bob DruryThe area around Laragne is perfect for pilots of all levels, from those first early flights and big top to bottoms to 100km plus cross countries. We provide the back up to allow pilots of all levels to concentrate on and get as much out of their flying as possible whilst here on holiday.

We are flexible with meal times, start times and finish times and won't let your evening meal get in the way of your flying, we know a pilot's priorities!

In addition to providing accomodation and full support for flying holidays run by clubs and for groups of appropriately qualified and experienced pilots, from our Gite at the foot of Laragne Chabre, we also provide specific B&B weeks for individual visiting pilots at certain times, we do not however provide pilot training ourselves.
Please note weeks generally run Saturday pm to Saturday am.

These free flying weeks do not include tuition or fly guiding.

Weekly programmes are flexible depending on pilot requirements to include;

  1. Training at Buc Sederon'DIY' weeks - with Bed and Breakfast, whereby we provide accommodation, breakfast and morning weather information to pilots staying at Rebinelle.
  2. 'Retrieve' weeks - with Bed and Breakfast, transport to sites, take offs, retrieve, relaunches, evening flying, weather briefings, and all transport including to the pub. Airport pick up (Saturdays only) available at extra cost otherwise free pick up from Sisteron, Digne or Laragne train & bus stations. Basically, all you need to concentrate on is flying as far as possible with no worries about getting home - we'll come and get you.

The above weeks are aimed at qualified and experienced pilots who are happy to fly in alpine thermic conditions. All pilots should have a 2m radio, recently packed reserve and vario/GPS in addition to their normal flying gear. We will provide Trackers.
